The Sage Series™ is a family of identically patterned knives that showcases the innovative lock mechanisms that helped define modern folding knife technology. The newest addition to this series, the Sage 5, highlights Spyderco’s patented Compression Lock™, which uses one of the handle’s stainless steel liners, the stop pin, and an upward-facing ramp on the blade’s tang to create an incredibly strong and user-friendly lock mechanism.
