With the design of the Boker Plus Kihon DC, American custom knife maker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the fundamentals and basic techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements in a down-to-earth way in the solid everyday knife.
