The 144 pages strong cookbook, illustrated with many coloured photos, is a selection and composition of recipes from the German Petromax recipe books “Draussen Kochen” and “Draussen Backen” (latter awarded with the Gourmand Cookbook Award 2019). In addition to the diverse cooking and baking instructions the book contains many interesting facts on handling Petromax products as well as numerous tips for the campfire kitchen. Traditional German recipes also provide for tasty variety.
