JT Pälikkö, a Finnish puukko knife maker, is a master of his craft dedicated to doing anything that can be done manually with his own hands.

He forges, grinds and shapes the blades by himself from the very beginning of the process. The handles along with their decorations are also made as works of handcraft, and Pälikkö doesn’t even use a sewing machine to make the sheaths, instead hand-sewing them.

Created in the impressive and inspirational seaside idyll of Suomenlinna in Finland, Pälikkö retains his convictions about breaking the conventions of traditional Finnish puukko knives. Combining the core values of ergonomy, safety and usability, he creates functional knives from quality materials for tough use as well. Of course, the knives are also visually impressive enough to satisfy the most demanding of knife fanatics.

In addition to knives and puukko knives, Pälikkö also crafts swords based on their historical role models
