Design
The design resembles 18th century popular French Flatin, but Instead of riveted pivot pin a screw is used. So you can easily adjust the friction in the mechanism.
The blade does not have another locking mechanism than friction.
Blade
Lauri 80CrV2 double hardened (edge 63 HRC, spine 50 HRC) blade. The length is 2 3/4" (70 mm) and thickness 0.09" (2.2 mm). Cuts like a razor.
The handle is birch plywood with black stain and linseed oil treatment.
