As useful accessory, the Dry Rack Basket for the Petromax Cool Boxes of the kx-series provides for gentle food preservation. The basket is simply placed on top of the inner edge of the Cool Box and, thus, keeps its contents dry and in sufficient distance to ice or melting water. Thereby, very delicate supplies such as food in cardboard packages or fruits and vegetables are protected from moisture. To refill ice, the basket can easily be removed and re-placed afterwards.

The Dry Rack Basket is made of powder-coated steel and available in two versions, with 28 x 17.5 cm (kx25) or 36 x 23cm (kx50). For each box, two identical baskets can be used at the same time.

Note: When using the Dry Rack Basket, make sure not to fill the lower part of the kx25 respectively the kx50 higher than 15 cm respectively 20 cm with ice and further supplies. This will ensure a minimum distance to the bottom of the basket.
