Paaso Puukot
Paaso-Puukot is a small yet traditionally oriented family company from Lapland, Finland. Its history stretches all the way back to the 1950's when Tauno Paaso founded the family company with his wife. The original name of this manufacturer of traditional puukko knives was quite poetic - it can be translated as Lapland's Memento Factory.
In the year 2008, the company underwent a transition to another generation and simultaneously received its new, current name.
In addition to traditional puukko knives, Paaso-Puukot also manufactures jewelry and souvenirs.
The principle of Paaso-Puukot is to make puukko knives that are usable. The company wants to manufacture products that are practical and durable, but at the same time Paaso-Puukot wants to bring forth the mysticism and traditions of Lapland with various kinds of different decorations and material options.
The selection of the company includes puukko knives for fishermen, hunters and bushcraft lovers. Their leuku knives and collectible puukko knives are also worth mentioning.
