Glock
Glock started in 1963 by an Austrian engineer Gasto Glock as the company which produces a variety of plastic and steel parts. Not long after that, Glock started to develop military products, including field knives, machinegun belt links, etc., and received a formal invitation form the Austrian Army to develop a new service sidearm.
