Böker AK1 Drop Point Redstone knife 131502
Description
The Boker Daily Knives AK1, created in cooperation with the young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, is a versatile small everyday knife that can be perfectly adapted to your own needs. Born in Fulda in 1993, Alex Kremer began making his first knives as an 18-year-old student, with his numerous tours through the sheer endless expanses of Scandinavia still serving as a source of inspiration to this day. The AK1 he designed is equipped with a drop point blade made of powder-metallurgical RWL 34, a stainless high-performance steel that is ice-hardened to 61 to 62 HRC. The ergonomically shaped handle scales fit comfortably in the hand and are made of Richlite, which comes in the breathtaking Redstone color. Richlite is an extremely durable, sustainable and versatile material based on high-quality, FSC-certified paper that has been impregnated with resin, pressed and heat-treated for hardening. The handle scales can be removed in no time at all using the supplied Torx wrench and can be replaced with a variety of alternative scales developed and produced in collaboration with Daily Customs. In addition, the elaborately crafted lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the grip panels are removed so that it disappears into the handle. Like the blade, it is made from RWL 34 with minimal manufacturing tolerances. This means that the knife can be quickly adapted to your own requirements and changed depending on the situation. Supplied with a high-quality leather sheath, which is fitted with an Ulticlip and can be conveniently attached to the pocket hem thanks to the locking spring clip. This allows the AK1 to be drawn effortlessly while the sheath is reliably held in place by the Ulticlip. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.

EDC KnivesBrand
Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
