It is a strong outdoor Kukri knife, has a battle proven design and can be used for a variety of tasks and will live up to its legendary status.
Kukri are hand forged as per tradition and to match the original antique pattern as best as possible. Made with strong steel, oil quenched and properly heat treated making our Kukri knives unique. This is the best reproduction of the antique pattern and as close as possible to the original, besides having a slightly longer handle to fit the modern user better.
Ideal all-round Kukri with a wide 11" blade, full tang and a comfortable wooden handle. A deep brown leather over wood scabbard based on military issue in WW2.
This type of Kukri was used by British & Commonwealth forces during WW2 in the Far East against the forces of Imperial Japan, particularly in the China-Burma-India area where it is known that Armoured Car troops used this style of Kukri´s. The Tank-crew M43 Kukri is similar to the classical 13 inch blade «Military M43 Kukri” but “Tank-crew” has an 2 inch shorter blade length and a broader blade belly which enables deep and powerful cuts.See image to left for comparison.
