Ice chisel with a wooden handle
Laxtröm's sturdy and traditional ice chisel is a peerless helper in winter trap fishing or other hobbies that require making a hole in the ice. Stories tell of such devices having been developed as far back as in the Stone Age. The shape has endured the test of time until modern days, and there is no need to change it, since it really does work.
The wooden handle and the durable blade enable bigger holes in the ice. The ice chisel is the best choice for the ice near the start of the winter and in springtime. For the thick ice of the dead of the winter, we recommend choosing the ice saw instead.
The Laxtröm ice chisel is at its best when the ice is at most 10cm thick.
