Böker Diamond Sharpening Pencil 09BO373
Description
The small and light-pocket sharpening rod in a ballpoint pen format, set with industrial diamonds, combines a conical as well as a cylindrical side with a flattened contact surface and fishhook sharpening groove in the smallest of spaces. The conical side can be used for serrated edges, the cylindrical side for all straight edges of knives with steel blades. The unused side of the rod disappears into the aluminium handle and is secured with a cap nut. When not in use, the rod can be almost completely sunk into the handle and the sharpener can be attached to clothing with a spring steel clip. The first and lightest choice for expert sharpening on backpacking trips.

Brand
Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
