G. Sakai KU Damascus Santoku kitchen knife
Description
The blade consists of core steel & 16-layer-outer-steel (32 layers on both sides). The core steel is VG-10 which is superior in wear resistance as well as edge retainment. The outer steel is laminated of two different steels, which is repeatedly hammered and folded. This process finally creates 16 layers of beautiful Damascus pattern on the surface of the steel. The 16-layer damascus combined with the super steel VG-10 makes the KU highest quality.
