Böker Mother of Pearl 2.0 straight razor 140556
Description
The cut and polished shells of the pearl oysters were once a common currency and have been used in the production of jewellery for a long time. The handles of the Boker Mother of Pearl are made of mother-of-pearl imitation and are very robust in contrast to the natural material. The shimmering handle harmonises beautifully with the partial gilding of the blade's back and scabbard. The extra hollow and ridge ground blade in the size 6/8 inch is made of classic stainless carbon steel. With authentic Boker stamp in the blade bore, certificate of authenticity and historical packaging. Handmade in the Boker knife manufactory Solingen.

Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
