Böker Scout Steam Engine Damascus folding knife 115120DAM
Description
150 years of Boker Knives - Definitely a good reason to celebrate!
Each knife in the Anniversary Damascus series is equipped with a handle scale of a material which is almost as historic as the blade - the Boker logo dates back to the huge chestnut tree that graced the yard of Böker´s first facility, and though it had been destroyed by a thunderstorm in the early 20th century, the choice of smoked chestnut wood for the handle scales still keeps the origin of Böker logo alive in every single knife in the series. Each knife is handmade in Boker Manufactory in Solingen, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity, and in an anniversary frame display for an attractive presentation. Each model is individually numbered and strictly limited to 150 pieces worldwide.

Brand
Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
