Description

Savotta Jääkäri M is a backpack designed by gathering real user experience and ideas. The slim shape and many details, like extensive MOLLE webbing, makes it a versatile, sturdy and suitable to be used also in cramped spaces.

The actual bag is slim yet spacious, the opening of the bag is closed with a drawstring and secured with a waterproof protective collar. The flap is attached with adjustable straps which makes even considerable over-packing possible. On the right side of the backpack is a vertical zipper that runs along the full height of the backpack and makes it easy to access the content.

Inside the back is a compartment for the frame, a mesh pocket that can hold for example a 13.3-inch laptop and outlets for wires and tubes on both sides. Open pockets with elasticized openings and compression straps are located low on the sides of the backpack.

The webbing of Jääkäri M is compatible with PALS/MOLLE -system. This enables attaching for example additional pouches to anywhere desired. The long straps of the flap runs along the whole backpack and they reach all the way to the back of the bottom. This makes attaching gear to the front and to the bottom without any extra straps possible. More extra gear can be attached to loops in the bottom of the front side and behind the compression straps on the sides of the bag.

Hip belt and shoulder straps are anatomically designed. The hip belt can be tightened to both directions and it has a lot of adjustment range, making it suitable for all body types and sizes. Chest strap adds more stability. On the top of the backpack is a carrying handle. The back is reinforced with a frame made of ethylene plastic sheet, which can be also removed from the compartment.

The generously sized padding pillows are located against the back and at the lower back, the pillows in the lower back can be removed and the hip strap can be hidden behind them. The sturdy frame and padding pillows makes the Savotta Jääkäri M a comfortable backpack to carry even if you have happened to take a heavier load along.
