Chris Reeve Mnandi folding knife, Bog Oak MNA-1000
Description
With hand polished finishes and a handle at 3.625" long,
the Mnandi is among our smallest and sleekest low-profile folders. Bog Oak inlays are made from stabilized wood and profiled to fit precisely inside handle pockets. Bog Oak is rare wood in the beginning stages of fossilization. Buried and preserved in a peat bog for hundreds or sometimes thousands of years, Bog Oak's hues are deep brown to almost black wood. Wood Inlays are made from natural materials, so you can expect a variation in color and wood grain.

Chris Reeve Knives started in 1984 from a single garage attached to a house where Chris was living. The former motorcycle racer channeled his enthusiasm into knifemaking. He worked extremely hard by himself to put as much as possible into every one of his knives and run an independent business. He designed every model with a deliberate approach, taking into account how the knife works and the intended purpose of the knife. Chris Reeve Knives received the ”Manufacturing Quality Award” for twelve consecutive years, from 2001 to 2012, following it up with multiple products receiving ”Knife of the Year” awards.
