Description
The small and lightweight Hultafors splitting axe (0.9 kg) helps quickly chop firewood for stoves, fireplaces, or bonfires from prepared logs. The narrow blade, nearly straight along its entire length, sharply widens from the cutting edge, forming a protrusion on each side of the blade, making it easy to split large logs into small pieces.
The axe head is made from forged carbon steel. The multiple forging processes, performed by the company's specialists using traditional methods, significantly increase the density and strength of the blade, allowing it to withstand high-impact loads.
The handle is relatively short, curved, with an expansion at the end. This shape makes it convenient to hold the axe with one hand. The handle is made from hickory wood, treated with a protective clear lacquer.
