Böker Daily Knives AK1 American Tanto Ultem knife 124500
Description
Created in cooperation with the young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, the Boker Daily Knives AK1 is a versatile small everyday knife which is not only completely convincing as an EDC but already enjoys cult status.
Alex Kremer, born in Fulda in 1993, started making his first knives at the age of 18, and his numerous tours through the vastness of Scandinavia are still a source of inspiration for him today. The AK1 he designed is equipped for the first time with a short reverse tanto blade made of powder metallurgical CPM MagnaCut, a high-performance steel that combines high corrosion resistance with excellent edge retention.
The ergonomically shaped and hand-flattering handle scales are made of Ultem, a high-performance thermoplastic with a breathtaking, semi-transparent amber look. They can be easily dismantled using the torx-key supplied and can be replaced by a wide range of alternative scales developed and produced together with Daily Customs. In addition, the intricately manufactured lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the handle scales are dismantled so that it disappears into the handle. It is made of MagnaCut, just like the complete full tang, with minimal manufacturing tolerances. This means that the knife can be adapted to your own requirements in the shortest possible time and modified according to the situation.
Supplied with a high-quality black leather sheath, which is provided with a sewn-in ulticlip and can be easily attached to the pocket hem thanks to the locking spring clip. The AK1 can thus be pulled effortlessly while the sheath is held in place by the Ulticlip. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.

Brand
Started from a small hardware factory of the Böker family in Germany in the 17th century, Böker became famous in 1869 when they launched their tree-brand knives developed in cooperation with the well-known cutlery-expert Hermann Heuser. The history of Böker has been affected by eventful times, but two things remained: passion and enthusiasm for extraordinary knives. Böker was one of the first companies to offer ceramic knives as a featured product line.
