The updated version of the popular Work Sharp Ken Onion Edition sharpener includes several enhanced features and new functionalities. The Work Sharp Ken Onion MK2 is a versatile electric sharpener that can handle all types of knives, including serrated ones, as well as various tools.
The MK2 model features a more powerful motor than the original and simplified speed control. The dual-speed motor (speed range: 1200–2800 SFM) allows for precise sharpening tasks at lower speeds while still providing ample power for heavy-duty sharpening, such as for axes and shovels.
The ergonomics have also been improved, which enhances user comfort, especially when sharpening multiple knives in succession. The MK2 utilizes next-generation sharpening belts, which are more durable and effective, offering enhanced performance for shaping, sharpening, and finishing. Additionally, changing belts is smoother and faster than ever before.
