At Lamnia we want to take care of the environment like we take care of our customers. We value all things done for the good of the environment, big or small. We are constantly trying to find more sustainable methods to pursue in our business.
We aim to minimize the consequences of our actions as an e-commerce company and decrease the impact on the environment. Here are a few examples of how we’re making it happen:

We use recycled materials as much as we can and recycle our company's waste including paper, cardboard, metal, plastic, glass and biodegradable waste.
Our service provider for deliveries in Finland is Posti and for international deliveries we use UPS. We offset the emissions of our logistics through Posti Green emission compensation. The emissions caused by deliveries and transportation are offset with projects that help the environment. This means that emissions in one place are cancelled out by reducing them somewhere else. Lamnia also uses emission compensation from UPS, which spends funds on purifying sewage, collecting gases from waste dumps, and planting forests.
Packaging
We recycle the packaging materials of imported products. We also aim to make our own packaging as sustainable as possible and minimise the effects on our environment. This is why we pack our deliveries into recycled cardboard and use biodegradable packing material based on corn or recycled paper.
Offices
We use LED lighting on our premises and electricity source (hydro and wind power). We also reduce the energy consumed in many of our daily routines: We make sure that unneeded appliances, air conditioning and lighting are turned off at night. In addition, we have reduced the room temperature on our premises by 2°C.
We want to make it easier for our customers to make more sustainable choices. That is why we have created a "Responsibly Produced" icon to show which products are manufactured sustainably.
